Mexican mint  is a perennial herb that looks similar to marigolds but is not related. It has narrow, lance-shaped leaves with a strong anise or licorice scent. Also known as Mexican mint, Spanish thyme, or Indian borage, Cuban oregano has succulent, fleshy leaves that are fuzzy and strongly aromatic.
